Mogi Honke (Head Family) Art Museum

It is an art museum of Kikkoman's founding family, Mogi Honke.

Art objects, which the 12th family head Mr. Mogi Shichizaemon had

collected over the years, have been exhibited.

It has an abbreviated name of “MOMOA (MOGI-HONKE MUSEUM OF ART).”

01Full of Art Works!
This museum, which is opened in January 2006, has three thousand several hundred art works in total,
including Ukiyoe (Japanese woodblock prints), Japanese paintings, and sculptures.
About eighty to ninety art works are regularly displayed, along with several rotating exhibits a year.
02A beautiful building!
The building of the museum was designed by Mr. Yutaka Hikosaka, an architect and environmental designer.
It is based on white and gray in accordance with the streets of Noda city,
and Kawara tiles are used for its outer walls and front entrance.
03Magnificent green garden and delicious tea!
At the on-site café "Cafe MOMOA," you can enjoy tea and a meal
while looking out into the green garden!
Meals are by advance reservation until 10:30 on the day.
