You can see the buildings and gardens from the Edo period until the early Showa era,

It is a garden and a mansion of Mr. Takanashi who ran the soy sauce brewing business in the Edo period
and served as Myoshu (a village headman) of Kamihanawa village.
While keeping the air of a wealthy farmer's mansion in the Shimousa district of the late Edo period,
it was completed, adding a modern design through the renovation in the early Showa Period.
It was designated as the "scenic spot" of the country for the first time in
the prefecture in 2001 because it has high academic and ornamental value.

Takanashi Honke (Head family) Kamihanawa History Museum is open to the public.
You can know the history of soy sauce brewing and the life of brewers because materials on soy sauce
and documents passed down in Takanashi's family for generations are displayed at the exhibition building.
